Finally!

Wooo! The McInternet has returned after the BT tossers cut us off for a week. Still, the line is back up now and i can get round to updating my blog after aaaaages! Not much been happeneing this week except it has finally snowed after the onset of stupidly cold and icy conditions. I was in work at the time - just my luck! I feel fully christmassy again which is totally wrong since there are only what, 11 months til the festive season is upon us once more? Meh.

Found some amusing stuff on the web today:

Panda babies (Essence of cuteness here!)

Kenya Lions and Tigers - nothing can beat the randomness of the badger

Somehow i think this will be very handy in a few years time

Oh dear.

waste time here

web magazine type things

more to come when i have some time. I'm up to my ass in essays at the moment. Be back relatively soon.

The Dollar Tricks...and other stuff too

Ok just found this website whilst doing work and was browsing the net. I don't quite know what to make of it as it does appear to be quite believable but then i think thats the "oooh! wow! how amazing is THAT?!?" side of me coming out. Seems highly coincidal and its probably a load of bullsh*t but see what you make of it...

AlSO IN TODAY'S POST:

5 things we didn't know last week

1) there are over 40 continuity errors in The Lord Of The Rings: The Return of the king. That's almost 1 every hour!

2) The first bar code EVER was used on a wrigley's chewing gum packet.

3) a night club in Des moines turned away a soldier who recently lost both legs in Iraq because the shoes he wore on his prosthetic legs were "too casual." Ouch.

4) On average, 100 people choke to death on ballpoint pens every year.

5) The only 15 letter word that can be spelled without repeating a letter is uncopyrightable

how to waste time - Super arcade gaming!

the brand new Incubus song "Megalomaniac" - its awesome so check it out. DO IT! you know you want to...

It's John Beardon! And its a spectacular sight at that!

Draw splodgey lines!

Where do you rank in your office?

Not even tired....

well not yet that is and it involved two forms of exercise...wooo!

Have been determined to get myself back into some sort of fit state sometime before the summer coming up (well not coming up coz its still pretty crappy weather but you know what i mean ) so i went back to kickboxing last week and came back tonight not feeling anywhere near as tired as i had last week. Not suprising really since i think that christmas syndrome may start to be wearing off finally and the as the last of the chocolates are vanishing then i may be able to hold off eating crap again until my birthday!

But yeh anyway, so came out of kickboxing and went and did a few laps in the pool just to finish off. Ok so admittedly i did only do about 12 lengths in 25 minutes but considering the last time i went was about 6 months ago then im not worrying too much in that sense. The intention is to keep it up...hopefully it will last. only time will tell..........

other than that had a dull week so far didn't do a lot yesterday, stayed home in the evening and watched tv and generally vegetated. and today i was healthy. kinda balances i guess. oops. i just ate a kitkat.. :P

New Year!
Many apologies for the severe lack of bloggage but i have found myself so busy in the run up to xmas and everything else going on but im going to make a point of regularly posting and informing the world of my limited goings on (if im not feeling too lazy that is!)

Well, we're almost a week into the new year and nothing has changed much yet although i think 2004 should be a good year. I have decided also that there is no point in making any new years resolutions because I will only end up breaking them and then thinking "what was the point in that?" I have a few things in mind however that i want to have done by the end of the year even though i haven't exactly decided on them yet. one possibility is that i'm taking up kickboxing again as i need to keep fit and i found that it was a really great way of doing so, which also allows me to kick arse if the time may arise! Being able to drive is something else i want to be happily doing and to have passed the first year of my A-Level course. Should be ok, im pretty confident about all this kind of stuff i just need to make sure I keep on top of everything to make sure it stays under control as im a bit crap when it comes to keeping organised.

well im bored now so im gonna go. will post if i thik of anything not boring and not repetetive to write.
