Yay! lost another pound this week despite evil choc attacks! Fi Fi x ::: logged by Fi ::: 20:39 Friday, January 28, 2005 Is it just me or has Blogger and Haloscan been playing up for the last few days cos first I couldn't read my comments and then i couldn't create posts...??? Oh the confusion. Happy 30th Birthday Deac for the other day...blog was down and u were asleep/working on the day so its here now instead. Hooray! It's finally the weekend! Am rather excited but for no apparant reason. Weekeneds are always pretty good whatever. May venture out into the clod a little later on for a bike ride to try and earn myself a few bonus points however the way the weather's going at the moment, don't think i'l be venturing too far away from my nice toastie house....brrrr! Currently listening to The Killers. Bought it off my mate for £5. Not bad at all. :) still have other Cd's to buy that were meant to go on my birthday wishlist but here they are now that i've remebered some of them: Travis - singles Athlete - tourist. Really like the new song, album should be cool too. Kasabian - Kasabian The Verve - This is music 92 - 98 John Frusciante - will to death/shadows collide with people Feeder - pushing the senses Thats bout it at the mo. Still having dilemma in organising when to do the old birthday thing...think it's gonna be Tuesday 27th...nobody has work the next day, it's the easter holidays and every other time somebody's away... bloody people...don't they know how important this monumental event is!!! Still haven't fallen off diet though i'm going to have to be a bit stricter with myself as I think I may get bored soon and start losing my footing on the ladder of diet and could well plummet back to evilness. I think that I can do it and as long as I tide over the chocolate craving with a cup of hot chocolate or couple of mini celebrations a day then I think it will be ok. lost another 3lbs in the last week so the total is up to 7lbs now - Hoorah! I'm off to make a cup of tea methinks... Fetus x ::: logged by Fi ::: 16:51 First time baby and dog sitting operation is now completed.... spent weekend looking after the little man and little pixie whilst their Mummy and Daddy got all silly whilst out in London For Daddy's 30th Birthday. Can't remember what actually happened saturday as got woken up at 9am by mum - spent rest of morning half asleep. Took pix for a walk at lunch. Forest was pretty muddy but not too bad. I've never seen a dog run at walking pace before but taking her to the forest was rather amusing as I watched her silly excitedness. At least when we got there by the time she had run far enough not to hear my voice any more she had got bored of running in that direction and decided to return back to the oh - so - tasty crinkliness of her treaty bag! Weekend continued with more Ben-Sitting, pixie walking, midnight pixie toilet breaks and the first ever emergency nappy change... oo er! All in all was an interesting experience, lots of giggles but lots of tiredness too! Fetus x ::: logged by Fi ::: 16:41 Wednesday, January 19, 2005 Birthday Edit... Knew it would happen... CD case no longer required coz Chris McStole me one from his work so it'll do perfectly for the car. Another possibility for pressies tho is one of those air freshener thingys that you stick onto your heaters coz I still haven't got one - I refuse to stoop to cardboard pine tree level! I'm high class dont you know! Nothing else to update I guess for today. Writing history essay on the 1945 British election. Drinking tea. Needing sleep most importantly though! Work was poo. My manager decided he felt like a day off and didn't turn up...no suprise there then! so in the end we had no drivers, no shoppers and no managers or supervisors... just little me and the 15 year olds who can only work 2 hours a day, AKA the "kiddies." They're ok - just a bit annoying sometimes. especially when they have sticker fights. I'm really a lot more mature than they are. Honestly. Fetus x By the way, I like, SOOO won the sticker fight. I have had a number of requests from family memebers asking what I want so here are some ideas: Dvds are never a bad idea, a case to put my cd's in for my car cos my old one broke! a stand for my electric guitar to lean up against as opposed to my desk, will never complain about malcamahol, perfume - (ghost?), earrings, funky plectums...(always losing them in silly places!) and then if nobody can think of anything then vultures are cool as well! Wow...I actually thought of stuff I wanted this year. It's a miracle :) Fetus x ::: logged by Fi ::: 16:03 Monday, January 17, 2005 Good music... There is some good music around at the moment. Check out: Kasabian - Cutt Off, Athlete - Wires, Chemical Brothers - Galvenize, and Feeder - Tumble and Fall. Bloc Party aren't bad but could still do with a listen or two more before I make up my mind. Hurrah, Busted are splitting up! and am going to see Green Day in 3 weeks! Things couldn't be better on the old music front at the mo, plus the news that the Foos are bringing out a double album in June/July time 2005! good old Radio 1.... :) 'etus x ::: logged by Fi ::: 21:39 The Return of Fetus.... Well, Here I am again. Decided that I need to get back up on the blog ladder and start postin stuff again despite my lack of bizarre and unusual blog posts so ably provided by maffydoo. Thik I will leave it to you as in no way can i compete to your randomness. (liked the grapey falling over person post - quality!) So to start off the new year: 1) Resolved to have no resolutions 2) Broke first resolution by then deciding as first and only resolution that I wanted to go on a diet. 3) Resolution 3; to stop being so worried about stuff all the time. Exams being major, stuff like bickering mates and what top to wear being slightly less important things to worry about. The Diet... Haven't fallen off the diet yet although I am getting severe cravings for all the things that I'm so used to eating...crisps, chocolate, Normal amounts of bread! + generally not being paranoid when I'm eating that I'm getting fat in the process which is probabaly a very good thing. I did say to myself that I was going to lose weight sometime after christmas and lo and behold, this has actually been the first one I think I have properly stuck to so far (haha touch wood!) Lost 3lbs in my first week which isn't bad I guess considering it's a bit of a culture shock for me having all the time been "on a diet" but a really crap one that isn't eating better but convincing myself that I am. Hoping I can keep up the effort. It's time consuming trying to fit it in around school and work and things but if it pays off then it will be worth it! Might go swimming tonight but if not then at least I am off to salsa next friday with the girlies so hopefully that should start the excercise process going. (I did contemplate going for a run on sunday in the forest....HAHAHA! like that ever happened...think I should start small and with something interesting!)
