MAN am I good!

i have just amazed myself completely by adding HaloScan onto my blog through just using silly non-understandable codey things and my own sheer cleverness.

I am great.

I Hate exams...

I know, i know everyone says it.

It has begun. I took my first exam today which is totally gonna come back and bite me in the ass when i open my results. (it didn't go as well i might have hoped) My hand felt like it had been slammed in a door, i couldn't feel my ass for 3 hours and it made my brain hurt. Joy. Another two weeks of exam pain to look forward to.

Oh well, guess i should stop complaining. AND being pessimistic. At least i can forget ive done this exam but i still have another 4 to enjoy yet. Looking forward to getting my results in august...cough!

onward with revision!

Incubus play wembley!

Has got to be one of the most amazing gigs i've been to. Admittedly although the chili peppers is still top of the list, incubus is now up there behind it. The atmosphere was awesome and although we were unable to get pit tickets, :( the crowds up in seating were just as lively (especially the kiddy at the bottome of red block 15 waving his t-shirt to his mates in the pit!)

They played a whole load of songs off the new album, most of which were amazing with a couple being just plain funny such as during anti - gravity, brandon boyd launching into his own rendition of kelis' "milkshake"...classy. There were also a number of various solos from drummer jose pasillas lasting approximately 5 minutes, initated by boyd during "vitamin" which continued into a full blown performance, and bassist Ben Einzeiger playing to his usual incredible standard. The audience was also entertained with songs played during the encore on a crappy little amp coz the sound technicians were having a touch of difficulty! The set also featured many thrownback songs from previous albums which is a must and always good to hear.

found a setlist on the net as i was too absorbed in the show to remeber what it was. (its only coz im sad i had to find one!)

megalomaniac
a crow left of the murder
warning
idiot box
nowhere fast
just a phase
wish you were here
pantomime
here in my room
drive
vitamin (drum solo et cetera – AMAZING)
priceless
beware! criminal
crowded elevator
pistola
talk shows on mute
summer romance (milkshake by kelis breakdown)
magic medicine
a certain shade of green (whole lotta love – led zep breakdown)
---
ben solo
sick sad little world (with huge extended instrumental)
are you in?

wicked gig. SOO seein then again :)

*NOTE: haha aparantly Mcfly were sat up in the crowds getting abuse from incubus fans such as "suck my [cough] mcfly!" mwahaha. fans are great.

The revolution
Hello,

well, im sure you've all been missing my posts greatly....NOT! yeh yeh ok. well i kinda decided that i needed to try and get the blog back up and going again since i haven't done anything to it in months - no time, couldn't be bothered etc.

I'm now coming up to exams and things are looking pretty sketchy all over :S i can't believe its this time of year already. Still, the revision is under way and yes, the panic set in a long time ago! Feeling more confident now than i was previously - nothing i can do but wait and see how things go and just make sure i whip the competition with my fantastically incredible exam skills (!) (yeh, that too is highly questionable)

went to fernstock the other night, wasn't too bad, could have been better, the inciders have improved but i still think theyre not as good as everyone says. speaking of losers were fucking excellent. ska rules. buy the cd its not as good as the "live skank pit" in ferndown community centre but meh, its all good. scutterball were also cool. i want the bassist's dreads >:( the emo band sucked. a lot.

yay hay started driving, its all good, pretty scary though, spesh on roundabouts and iffy junctions but im doing pretty well considering (not self inflating the ego here of course...) haha, i need to work on controlling my speed though... better watch for speed cameras. :S

right am bored now, gonna go to bed and endure having my head tenderised by the cat's claws for the next 6 hours until i get up.
